Door frames and door sets are designed and manufactured using 1.2mm zinc coated mild steel. Door frames are formed as single or double rebated profiles and constructed using concealed fixings. The steel door leaves incorporate interlocking seams to vertical stiles, plus horizontal and vertical stiffeners providing flush faced 45mm double skin construction. Insulation and bonding used in Norwood’s steel doors is capable of providing an acoustic barrier up to 35dB.
Door sets and door frames are available in a range of fire ratings between 30 minutes up to a maximum of four hours. Single and double glazed vision panels can be incorporated within the door design, ensuring that any architectural, health and safety or security considerations are provided designed into every door.
In addition to glazed units options, doors and door sets of finished using a high-grade polyester powder coating. Doors and door sets are provided in a multitude of colour options, making delivering optimum flexibility into the design and construction of every partition made by Norwood.
