Overview
High Hazard Tablet Facility encompassing Granulation, Milling, Fluid Bed Drying and Compression Suites. The aesthetic and architectural element comprised of the supply and installation of the Norwood’s mediline system, walk on ceilings and electrically operated sliding doors to the process rooms.
Project Spec
HVAC was complex due to the large volume of ductwork within a tight ceiling space. To conquer this issue, we created a plenum that created a vacuum to suck the air out of the bottom section of the panel and push up through a duct within the panel void and redistributed through the vents within our ceiling panels.
In consultation with the cleanroom designers BES, Norwood produced special panels to complement the building restrictions whilst providing functional solutions to services contained in the walls and ceilings. This also necessitated Norwood designing and manufacturing a unique suspended services pedestal to allow flexibility within the constraints of the cleanroom.
